Floating In Space

This is my graphic score interpretation of the score submitted by GeralfJerga. Here's a description of my thought process: 

The artwork was giving me retro vibes so I knew I wanted my performance to involve some synth. The colorful wavy textures in the background of the score immediately made me think of pads, so I got to work creating some pad textures, and I used the colored lines in the forefront of the score to dictate the pitches involved. I represented the darker squiggly line in the first half of the score with a high pitched drone sound that oscillates in pitch. Then I represented the darker cascading lines in the second half with a downward arpeggiating figure. I represented the EKG heartbeat signal quite literally with the thumping of a heartbeat. Lastly, I let the sound echo into nothingness at the end to represent the circles radiating out from the edge of the score.
